ABQ Childcare began in 1974 as a single childcare center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Founded on the belief that quality early childhood education shouldn't be a luxury, we set out to create a place where children from all backgrounds could thrive.

Over the decades, we grew alongside the community we serve. Four neighborhood-based centers now span the city, each with its own character, but all sharing the same values, curriculum, and commitment to excellence.

Today, we're proud to be a multigenerational institution. Many of our current families are second-generation: parents who attended our schools as children now trust us with their own kids. That kind of legacy isn't built on marketing. It's built on showing up, every day, for the children and families who count on us.
